Description
This is a blend of both Dexter and Luna’s cria fiber. There is a lot of organic material (such as hay) in the yarn. Why? This was their un-trimmed cria coat. Cria fiber is very soft, but the cria should have their initial coat trimmed (called cria tipping) to avoid the “Velcro” nature of the original fiber. The 2024 babies did not get cria tipped, and therefore their fiber collected all sorts of goodies. While our wonderful mill did their best to clean up the fiber, a lot of the hay and organic bits remain. You can see them in the photo.
